Thanksgiving Pumpkin Pie

Ingredients:
• 1 cup of sugar (brown)
• pinch of salt
• 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
• Cloves (optional)
• pinch of nutmeg (optional)
• 2 - 3 eggs (slightly beaten)
• 1 can pumpkin (15 ounces)
• 1 cup evaporated fat free milk (12 ounces)
• 1 pie shell (9-inch)
• whipped cream ( to garnish)
Preparation:
1. In a large bowl mix together sugar, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves.
2. Blend in beaten eggs at low speed of mixer.
3. Add pumpkin and evaporated milk. Blend at high speed of mixer until smooth.
4. Pour into pie shell.
5. Bake in preheated oven (450Âş F) for 15 - 20 minutes.
6. Reduce to 350Âş F for 35-40 minutes or until firm and crust is well browned.
7. Remove from oven and let cool well on wire rack before cutting.
8. Serve with sweetened whipped cream.
