Mariah Carey has revealed all about her stunning weight loss - she created a diet based on morsels of food. The pop diva lost 32 pounds (14.5 kilograms) in just 4 months by limiting the food. The chubby singer spends an hour in the gym every day and is also put through her paces during an aerobic water work-out, while her low-carbohydrate diet meant she had to give up her beloved pasta and instead dine on “mini-meals” of fish, soups, salad and fruit.

She revealed a new diet that she’s following. Mariah told America’s People magazine she’s been on a “really bleak diet, which is basically soups and fish prepared really blandly”.
“Just because food is healthy or low-fat or low-calorie doesn’t mean it has to be without flavour. And even soup and fish can taste great if you cook them right. Don’t make yourself eat food which is boring or flavourless or you’ll never stick to your weight loss plan. Basically you can have a tiny bit of everything you want - but it has to be less than a forkful.”
• EXERCISE
Consistent exercise is important for anyone trying to lose weight. “I’m working out like mad. You can punch me in the stomach and feel how tight it is.” Mariah hires a personal trainer and their routine is water-aerobic intensive. “We do water aerobics mostly.”
She said: “I have a wonderful trainer whose name is Patricia, she lives in St. Barts, poor girl,”
People say: “Only you would fly someone from St. Barts to New York to work out.”
Mariah Carey is living on plain fish and soup in a bid to shed the excess pounds. The beautiful diva has taken all calorific treats off the menu until she reaches her target weight. But there’s no chance of Carey, 38, losing her womanly curves. “I don’t feel like you have to be a size zero. We should all just embrace who we are physically,” she said. “I’m not supposed to be a stick figure girl. It’s just not me.”

Fans also follow her waistline as closely as they do her position on the Billboard charts. It seems as though Ms. Carey is one of the many stars finally conquering her battle with weight.
